U.S. Army Soldiers assigned to the 839th Transportation Battalion make final checks on a U.S. Army vehicle that has been off loaded from the cargo vessel, ARC Endurance at Volos Port, Greece Oct 26, 2019. The port operation occurred during the 3rd CAB’s deployment (Import) in support of Atlantic Resolve. The aviation brigade was met by several units to include the 21st Theater Sustainment Command, 598th Transportation Brigade, and host-nation partners who coordinated port operations to ensure 3CAB’s successful arrival and preparation for onward movement into the European theater. 3CAB will play a critical role in Atlantic Resolve by training closely with European partners and allies to defend against threats to the shared security of the region. The deployment of ready, combat-credible U.S. forces to Europe in support of Atlantic Resolve is evidence of the strong U.S. commitment to NATO and Europe. (U.S. Army Photo by Paolo Bovo)
