Naval Oceanography partnered with Aretè Associates during the Advanced Naval Technology Exercise in 2019, to implement their Pushbroom Imaging Lidar for Littoral Surveillance (PILLS) sensor. Seafloor mapping data collected using the PILLS sensor near the entrance to Pensacola Bay, Fla. The navigation channel into Pensacola Bay is shown in the middle of the image. The wreckage of the USS Massachusetts can be seen in the bottom left of the image.
