A Soldier of Company C, 4th Battalion, 9th Infantry Regiment, 4th Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division from Fort Lewis, Wash., and an Iraqi army soldier check vehicle registrations at a checkpoint in Tarmiyah, Iraq, Sept. 19. Since Operation Headhunter began on Sept. 7, attacks against coalition and Iraqi forces, as well as attacks against local citizens, have gone down to practically zero. Soldiers and citizens can now move freely about the streets without taking enemy fire.
