BATUMI, Georgia (Oct. 22, 2019) — Cmdr. Craig Trent, commanding officer of the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Porter (DDG 78), presents a gift to Jaba Phutkaradze, Minister of Finance and Economy of Ajara Autonomous Republic, during an office call in Batumi, Georgia, Oct. 22, 2019. Porter, forward-deployed to Rota, Spain, is on its seventh patrol in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations in support of U.S. national security interests in Europe and Africa.
