A 10-foot tall, inflatable Capt. Courage greets students and staff on the playground during a Red Ribbon Week Kick-off event at Trailside Elementary School in Anchorage, Alaska, Oct. 28, 2019.The annual campaign is led by the Drug Enforcement Administration, in partnership with local, state and federal agencies. The DEA, AKNG CDSP, Alaska State Troopers, Anchorage Police Department, and substance misuse prevention specialists were all in attendance. They hosted a student assembly to celebrate healthy choices, and shared a message about fueling bodies in healthy ways and avoiding harmful substances.
