Shelby, an airframe mechanic with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 166 “Sea Elks” and a Connersville, Ind., native, moves a ladder into place before working on a section of an MV-22B Osprey May 23. Airframe mechanics maintain corrosion control through prevention and treatment in order to keep the Sea Elks of VMM-166 flying.
