KINGS BAY, Ga.-Petty Officer 2nd Class Travis L. Jones, native of Dallas, U.S. Navy diver with Trident Refit Facility (TRIREFFAC) at Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, has his dive equipment inspected by Petty Officer 1st Class Stephen Schilz, a U.S. Navy diver and his leading petty officer, prior to beginning a dive to conduct underwater repairs. The Sailor was awarded Navy Commendation Medals, Oct. 31, 2019, for rescuing an unconscious civilian from a submerged vehicle.
