SŁUPSK, Poland (Oct. 21, 2019) – U.S. Navy Sailors assigned to Naval Support Facility Redzikowo (NSFR) participated in a multinational training exercise with law enforcement officers from Poland, France, Croatia, Germany and Lithuania, Oct. 21-23, 2019. Master-at-Arms 2nd Class Aaron Ash demonstrates how to wrap gunshot wounds during the exercise. Six Sailors, who serve as Master-at-Arms, took part in the multi-day events to hone their basic lifesaving skills, use of non-lethal weapons and marksmanship tactics at the Police Academy in Słupsk, Poland. They represented the U.S. Navy and personnel assigned to the base which will be home to the new Aegis Ashore Missile Defense System (AAMDS) located in Redzikowo (pronounced Red-jick-ko-vo). Participation in training events are an important aspect of being stationed in Poland and shows a continued effort to build strong partnerships with local officials and citizens in the surrounding regions.
