Former Marine corporal, Brian Gallagher began his 100 mile run May 26 around the 9/11 Memorial in New York to honor all United States active duty military. Gallager served four years in the Marine Corps from 1990 to 1994 and said he is running the 100 miles in under 30 hours to raise $100,000 for the 9/11 Memorial, the Disposable Heroes Project, and the Marine Corps Scholarship Fund; and to also raise awareness of the sacrifices of our military.
