A memorial dedicated to U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Robert Cowdrey stands at Forward Operating Base Fenty. Cowdrey was a flight medic with the 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade's "All-American Dustoff," Gypsy platoon. Cowdrey died Oct. 13, 2011 while saving coalition forces injured by enemy fire near the Pakistan border.
