U.S. Marine Cpl. Elijah Baldwin, a geospatial intelligence specialist with Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force - Southern Command, analyzes the static and live feed maps from an RQ-11B Raven Unmanned Aircraft System on Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras, Nov. 7, 2019. The training is a proof of concept exercise designed to test systems and procedures in the event of an unmanned aerial vehicle deployment in the case of a natural disaster in Central and South America. The task force is conducting training and engineering projects hand-in-hand with partner nation military members in Latin America and the Caribbean during their deployment to the region, which coincides with hurricane season.
