U.S. Navy Seaman Gene Miller, Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 3 from Port Hueneme, Calif., installs barbed wired at the top of a 2.4 kilometer perimeter fence here May 29. The battalion constructed the fence around the Bosnian-Herzegovinian military compound to meet force protection requirements for the participants of Shared Resilience 2012, a two-week U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff sponsored medical exercise. NMCB 3 is an expeditionary naval construction element currently assigned to U.S. Naval Forces Europe 6th Fleet's Task Force 68 to provide construction, engineering and security services that support national strategy, naval power projection, humanitarian assistance and contingency operations.
