BRC is one of the many courses taught by the staff at Reconnaissance Training Company, Advanced Infantry Training Battalion, School of Infantry - West. The purpose of BRC is to train students in the basic skills associated with being a Reconnaissance Marine in order to qualify them for the primary military occupational specialty of 0321 and follow-on service within a reconnaissance unit.
