191104-N-RX815-0133 U-TAPAO, Thailand (Nov. 4, 2019) Builder 2nd Class Megan Pringle, and Steelworker 3rd Class Jonah Foote, deployed with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5’s Detail Thailand, survey the exterior portion of the administration facilities on Royal Thai Naval Air Station U-Tapao Thailand to identify areas requiring renovation in order to provide functional space to conduct bilateral exercise operations. These buildings are used as command operation centers, briefing rooms, and staff planning spaces during joint exercises in Thailand. NMCB-5 is deployed across the Indo-Pacific region conducting high-quality construction to support U.S. and partner nations to strengthen partnerships, deter aggression, and enable expeditionary logistics and naval power projection.
