BGen. Ryan P. Heritage, the Commanding General of Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego (MCRDSD) and the Western Recruiting Region (WRR), and SgtMaj Abel T. Leal, SgtMaj of MCRDSD and the WRR, with the wife of the former SgtMaj or the Marine Corps Leland D. Crawford, place a wreath at the SgtMaj's grave at Rosecran's National Cemetary, Nov. 10, 2019. The wreath laying ceremony took place as an ongoing tradition of remembering our past Commandants and Sergeant's Major of the Marine Corps on the Marine Corps Birthday.
