‘Lord of the Cave’ is a 41 meter sculpture of a Korean dragon created by Weta Workshop for the Gwang-Myung Cave in Gwang-Myung, Republic of Korea, Oct. 23, 2019. Weta Workshop is known for their special effects work in ‘The Lord of the Rings’ and ‘The Hobbit.’ U.S. Soldiers, Marines, and Airmen enjoy a three-day cultural tour sponsored by the Korean Ministry of National Defense to help service members understand the Korean culture, appreciate their service in the Republic of Korea, and to help build the ROK/US alliance.
