Airmen with the 386th Air Expeditionary Wing secure an M1 Abrams main battle tank into a C-17 Globemaster III at Ali Al Salem Air Base, Kuwait, Nov. 11, 2019. The M1 Abrams is a third-generation American main battle tank designed for modern armored ground warfare. It introduced several innovative features, including a multifuel turbine engine, sophisticated composite armor and a computer fire control system.
