Lt. Col. H. W. Hugh Darville, deputy commander of Huntsville Center, presents a plaque of appreciation on behalf of Team Redstone to Dr. Yvette Running Horse Collin for her participation in the National American Indian Heritage Month observance at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, Nov. 13, 2019. The observance was organized by Huntsville Center’s Equal Employment Opportunity office in coordination with Team Redstone and the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command. Collin is the co-founder of Sacred Way Sanctuary, an education and research facility in Florence, Alabama, dedicated to preserving the Native American horse and other animals sacred to indigenous peoples of the Americas.
