Two U.S. Air Force B-1B Lancers, escorted by an F-22 Raptor and two U.S. Navy EA-18G Growlers, are refueled by two KC-135 Stratotankers with the 28th Expeditionary Air Refueling Squadron out of Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar, Oct. 25, 2019. The bombers flew directly from their home station of Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D., demonstrating the U.S. Air Force’s ability to rapidly deploy strategic bombers anywhere in the world. Exercising the ability to operate bombers at expeditionary locations deters adversaries and demonstrates U.S. commitment to partners and allies in the region. (U.S. Air Force photo by Master Sgt.
