World War II pilot and Distinguished Service Cross recipient Jim Tapp watches as an F-22 Raptor perform a demo in the skies above him on the flightline at Langley Air Force Base, Va., as part of a base tour for the Legion of Valor, May 31, 2012. Tapp, who flew the P-51 Mustang, earned the title of "Ace" after downing eight Japanese aircraft in aerial combat, four of which were in a single day.
