Capt. Ronald Oswald, commanding officer (center right) and Master Chief Petty Officer Terry Delacruz, command master chief, both of NAVOPSPTCEN Port Hueneme, Calif., thank Mr. and Mrs. Holmes, both World War II veterans, during the Spirit of ’45 Memorial Day celebration. To kick off the Memorial Day weekend, veterans residing at Atria Los Posas Senior Group Living were honored by currently serving military from NAVOPSPTCEN Port Hueneme. The Spirit of ’45 event was organized by Atria and VITAS Innovative Hospice Care to pay tribute to World War II veterans.
