FORT CAMPBELL, Ky. - Soldiers from varying brigades and units throughout the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), properly secure equipment brought in to the Division Excess Consolidation Point (DECP) to a pallet, Nov. 20, as part of Operations Clean Eagle and Eagle Sweep. The purpose of this operation is to identify and separate items within supply containers that units turned in and begin the process of throwing away trash and turning in items both through unit supply support activities (SSAs) and through the 101st Sustainment Brigade, 101st Abn. Div. (AA) Soldiers, who consolidated CLIX (repair parts) excess. The purpose of both of these operations is to remove excess from across the division, eliminate waste and increase the division's overall readiness posture.
