Elijah Palmer, Deputy Director of Education at the Hampton Roads Naval Museum (HRNM), provides a guided and interpreted tour of the museum’s gallery to staff members of the U.S. Army Transportation Museum. The visit brought staff members of both museums together to share exhibit, engagement, outreach and program ideas. Emphasis was placed on touring HRNM’s new exhibit “The Ten Thousand-Day War at Sea: The U.S. Navy in Vietnam, 1950-1975,” which encompasses 4,700 square feet of their gallery.
