    Director of Army Museums, Dr. Charles Cureton shows Under Secretary of the Army Joseph W. Westphal a bronze statue of Gen. Winfield Scott at the U.S. Army Center of Military History's Museum Support Center Facility, May 30, 2012, at Fort Belvoir, Va. The statue dates from 1871 and was created by the artist Launt Thompson. Winfield Scott was commanding general of the Army from 1841 to 1861. Westphal visited the Museum Support Center Facility to gain situational awareness and view the impressive collection of over 16,000 pieces of American history housed in the state-of-the-art facility.
