ATLANTIC OCEAN (Nov. 23, 2019) Aviation Structural Mechanic 1st Class Culley Pierce, from Azle, Texas, assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford's (CVN 78) aircraft intermediate maintenance department, uses a Naval Firefighters Thermal Imager (NFTI) to check for heat signals after responding to a simulated fire during a general quarters training evolution.
