191119-N-AD086-4004 SANTA RITA, Guam (Nov. 19, 2019) Builder 3rd Class Shermane Smith (right) and Builder Constructionman Joseph Cantoral, deployed with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5’s Detail Tinian, ensure scaffolding is level and safe for use by the crew in order to remove roof formwork from the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit 5’s Boat Storage Facility. NMCB-5 is deployed across the Indo-Pacific region conducting high-quality construction to support U.S. and partner nations to strengthen partnerships, deter aggression, and enable expeditionary logistics and naval power projection.
