Iraqi Security Forces (ISF) instructors with the School of Infantry Noncommissioned Officer II, give instructions during tactical formation training, at the Taji Military Complex, Iraq, Oct. 14, 2019. Tactical formation training enhances the core infantry skills of Iraqi Army brigades and allows for the implementation of strategy to make short term conditional decisions on the movement of troops and effective employment of weapons on the battlefield. Together, Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve and ISF will develop a sustainable and inclusive ISF that can secure its sovereign borders, protect the population and support a return to normalcy across the country and ensure the lasting defeat of Daesh.
