ATLANTIC OCEAN (Nov. 25, 2019) Chief Quartermaster Jose Triana, from Miami, assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford's (CVN 78) navigation department, looks through a sextant aside Capt. John J. Cummings, Ford's commanding officer, on the ship's bridge wing. The sextant is a family heirloom passed onto Cummings which he keeps in his at sea cabin underway.
