U.S. Marines with Light Armored Reconnaissance Training Company, Advanced Infantry Training Battalion, School of Infantry - West, receive a brief from company staff before beginning a live-fire evolution as part of the LAR Marine course at Range 408 on Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, Dec. 4, 2019. LARTC provides entry-level training and instruction for Marines to operate, drive and maintain different types of light armored vehicles. The LAR Marine course provides detailed instruction on first echelon maintenance, driving techniques, light armored vehicle turret operations and water operations.
