Spc. Arturo Aguilera, a musician with the U.S. Army Japan Band, receives a patch from Pfc. Ito Nobuaki, and infantryman with the 13th Infantry Regiment of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force, following a performance during Yama Sakura 77 Dec. 7, 2019, at Camp Asaka, Japan. Nobuaki was so impressed with the performance that he asked to trade patches with Aguilera. YS 77 underscores a continued commitment by both the United States and Japan to work as dedicated partners in support of the U.S.-Japan security alliance and for continued peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
