Sailors aboard the amphibious dock-landing ship USS Gunston Hall (LSD 44) guide a landing craft utility, assigned to Assault Craft Unit 2, out of the ship's well deck. Gunston Hall, with the embarked 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit, is part of the Iwo Jima Amphibious Ready Group and is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
