A wreath floats out to sea during a wreath laying ceremony held on the fantail of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Battle of Midway. The Battle of Midway is widely considered the decisive battle in the Pacific theater during World War II. Abraham Lincoln is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility conducting maritime security operations, theater security cooperation efforts and support missions as part of Operation Enduring Freedom.
