191203-N-RX815-0801 U-TAPAO, Thailand (Dec. 3, 2019) Construction Electrician 2nd Class Leah Himes, Builder 2nd Class Pringle, Megan, and Steelworker 3rd Class Jonah Foote, deployed with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5’s Detail Thailand, measure and plot the location of future concrete repair on the U-Tapao Royal Thai Navy Airfield runway. NMCB-5 is deployed across the Indo-Pacific region conducting high-quality construction to support U.S. and partner nations to strengthen partnerships, deter aggression, and enable expeditionary logistics and naval power projection.
