191213-N-PE825-0002: ROTA, Spain (Dec. 13, 2019) – Builder 3rd Class Nicholas Savard, a Seabee assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 11, operates a forklift to move a pallet during the battalion’s Mount-Out Exercise (MOX). An MOX simulates the battalion’s ability to deploy their 89-person air detachment within 48 hours to support missions required by a supported commander. NMCB-11 is currently forward deployed to Rota, Spain in support of Commander, Task Force (CTF) 68, to provide expeditionary construction and engineering capabilities, humanitarian assistance, disaster response, and exercise related construction for the 6th Fleet area of operations.
