    191202-N-JO908-1109 MANAMA, Bahrain (Dec. 2, 2019) A Sailor assigned to a Mark VI Patrol Boat attached to Commander, Task Force 56 participates in a high value asset (HVA) escort transit of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) after a port visit in Manama, Bahrain, Dec. 2. This event highlights one of many core competencies that the Coastal Riverine Force provides in support of 5th Fleet operations. Commander, Task Force 56 is responsible for the planning and execution of expeditionary missions - including coastal riverine operations - in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
