Kristian Fugrad operates a plasma torch to demilitarizing property that had been turned in to DLA Disposition Services in Battle Creek, Michigan. Fugard, a property receipt supervisor at DLA Disposition Services site in Sagami Japan, was taking part in two weeks of deployment skills training as part of the annual Overseas Contingency Operations Readiness Training. The exercise allows military and civilian staff to rehearse a team deployment scenario while receiving and processing real-world customer turn-in items.
