    Petty Officer 2nd Class Gerald Flint uses a front end loader to fill a crater in a simulated runway at Kadena Air Base as part of a joint-training exercise with the Air Force. Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 7 personnel partnered with Kadena Airmen of the Rapid Engineer Deployable Heavy Operation Ready Squadron engineers for the exercise. NMCB-7 is deployed to the Far East to provide construction support to shore installations in support of the Global War on Terrorism.
