Spc. Riley Swinford, a satellite communication systems operator-maintainer with Signal, Intelligence and Sustainment Company, Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion, 10th Mountain Division, receives his Army Space Cadre Basic Course certificate after completing the two-week-long course, Dec. 13 at Fort Drum, N.Y. The course provides Soldiers knowledge on the fundamentals of space capabilities, and space systems and organizations to help them better understand their roles in the space community.
