MADISON, Wis. (Dec. 20, 2019) - University of Wisconsin-Madison Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps (NROTC) U.S. Navy Ensign Sean Gohlke has his officer shoulder boards put on by his parents during a commissioning ceremony held in the Senate Chamber of the Wisconsin State Capitol. NROTC is overseen by Commander, Naval Service Training Command, Rear Adm. Jamie Sands, and his staff and was established to develop midshipmen mentally, morally, and physically so as to assume the highest responsibilities of command, citizenship, and government.
