A view of the newly raised Mk.143 Armored Box Launcher aboard the decommissioned Iowa-Class Battleship, USS Wisconsin (BB-64). The launcher was last opened 28 years ago during the 1991 Gulf War. The loading of empty Tomahawk Cruise Missile Tubes and subsequent raising was the result of a unique COMREL event that that involved sailors from the Dam Neck contingent of the U.S. Aegis Missile Defense System-Romania, Naval Support Activity-Hampton Roads and Naval Medical Center Portsmouth.
