Sgt. 1st Class Shawn Pernell, Motor Transport Operator, 403rd Army Field Support Brigade, calls for a medivac at the perform first aid on a simulated casualty station during the ASC Best Warrior Competition held at Rock Island Arsenal April 10.
Sgt. 1st Class Gregory Elliott, Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic Supervisor, ASC, took first place and Staff Sgt. Ryan Sullivan, Watercraft Operator, ASC, finished second.
The top two finishers earned the right to represent ASC at the 2019 U.S. Army Materiel Command Best Warrior Competition at Camp Atterbury, Indiana, July 15-17.
