Air Force Master Sgt. Jehu Forte, assigned to the 703rd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, addresses Airmen and distinguished guests in an aircraft hangar on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Jan. 8, 2020, as his son Abram, 6, and daughter Thalia, 7, hug him during a ceremony awarding Forte the Bronze Star Medal for meritorious achievement for his actions during a deployment in support of U.S. and coalition forces in the Middle East. Master Sgt. Forte distinguished himself by meritorious achievement as a Tactical Operations Superintendent and Air Advisor, and placed himself at risk numerous times while engaged in operations against an opposing armed force to expertly carryout his mission-critical duties in support of operations Inherent Resolve and Deliberate Resolve.
