    Senior Chief Fire Controlman Clifford R. Emerson, a Recruit Division Commander (RDC) assigned to Officer Training Command Newport (OTCN) in Rhode Island, induces remedial physical training to a student with Officer Candidate School (OCS) class 08-20 for improper wear of the Navy Working Uniform (NWU) during a uniform inspection Jan. 10, 2020. The inspection marks the first time students are authorized to wear the complete NWU since arriving to OCS. OCS develops civilians and fleet Sailors into newly-commissioned officers morally, mentally, physically and imbued with the highest ideals of honor, courage and commitment for service in the fleet as Naval officers.
