A photo taken of symbols on the side door of a Bell 407 state trooper helicopter during a North Carolina Helicopter Aquatic Rescue Team (NCHART) training exercise at a North Carolina State Highway Patrol training facility, Raleigh, North Carolina, Jan. 9, 2020. The symbols represent each survivor saved using this airframe during NCHART operations. The five kayaks represent three survivors rescued from the Cape Fear River and two survivors rescued from the Haw River. The flooded house symbol with the number five represents five survivors rescued during Hurricane Matthew in 2016. This NCHART exercise consists of members from North Carolina Emergency Management, North Carolina National Guard, North Carolina State Highway Patrol, and local first responders.
