U.S. Marine Brig. Gen. Dan Conley, the commanding general of Marine Corps Installations - West, Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, pins the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal on Lance Cpl. Allen Waller, a marksman observer with the Special Reaction Team, Provost Marshal’s Office, Security and Emergency Services Battalion, MCB Camp Pendleton, during the MCI-West, MCB Camp Pendleton noncommissioned officer and Marine of the quarter ceremony on Camp Pendleton, California, Jan. 10, 2020. The top performing NCO and junior Marine assigned throughout MCI-West were awarded for exemplary performance of their duties during the first quarter of fiscal year 2020. The five installations that comprise MCI-West provide the installation and training infrastructure to enable Marine Corps air and ground forces to develop and sustain operational readiness.
