Members of the 148th Fighter Wing Civil Engineer Fire Department pose for a group photo in front of P-34 Rapid Intervention Vehicle (RIV) and newly acquired P-26 Water Tender on Jan 11, Duluth. The firehouse acquired the P-26 Water Tender about six month ago as part of the Air Force equipment lifecycle program. The new apparatus gives the firehouse improve capabilities from the previous water tender. Members for the 148th Fighter Wing fire department are the primary department for the Duluth International Airport and 148th Fighter Wing. The new equipment will give the firefighters better capabilities to stay on scene longer because of the increased water capacity compared to the older truck which had half the gallonage.
