U.S. Army Sgt. Josiah Winter and U.S. Army Spc. Keenan Miller, both 151st Expeditionary Signal Battalion, South Carolina National Guard, set up an AN/TSC-156 Phoenix Tactical Super High Frequency (SHF) Satellite Terminal during a field training exercise in Hodges, South Carolina, Jan. 11, 2020. Signal Soldiers will have the opportunity to conduct small unit training and get validated on a variety of signal equipment at the Hodges training site. The 228th Theater Tactical Signal Brigade (TTSB) has trained and validated multiple units at the Hodges training site for stateside and overseas deployments through signal gunnery table training, which focuses on communication platform training.
