U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Jon Cairel, of the 163d Logistics Readiness Squadron, California Air National Guard, follows the procedure of keeping his eyes closed while tightening the straps on his gas mask during CBRN Defense training, Jan. 11, 2020, at March Air Reserve Base, California.
