200107-N-CD254-1486 DILI, Timor-Leste (Jan. 7, 2020) Builder 3rd Class Jahrual Lloyd, deployed with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5’s Detail Timor-Leste, uses an aluminum screed to level out the concrete pad during a concrete placement at the Liquica three-room schoolhouse construction site. NMCB-5 is deployed across the Indo-Pacific region conducting high-quality construction to support U.S. and partner nations to strengthen partnerships, deter aggression, and enable expeditionary logistics and naval power projection.
