Airmen from the 142 Fighter Wing in Portland Oregon and from the 162 Fighter Wing in Tuscan Arizona spent a week at the 104th Fighter Wing performing a practice Fighter Alert Force Evaluation and an evaluation on the maintenance phase process. Having other fighter wings perform inspections ensures that the wing being inspected is performing at their best and facilitates sharing best practices to increase effectiveness. To show is appreciation for their time and expertise Col. Peter T. Green III, 104the Fighter Wing Commander, took time to talk to the seven Airmen and coin them with his commanders coin.
